Slow Release Insecticide Spray (SRIP)

What is SRIP?

Slow Release Insecticide Spray is a paint that can be applied on walls, furniture, metal and a variety of surfaces, to repel insects from the enclosure. These have compounds in them that repel insects instantly when they come close to the painted surfaces which help keep insects at bay.

At the same time, the paint is non-toxic to human beings and can be used in homes, offices, factories, godowns, malls, shopping complexes, retail outlets, hotels, restaurants, resorts, schools, colleges, discotheques, theme parks, bars, pubs, and just about any and every kind of building that is inhabited by human beings.

Why do you need it?

Insects are the greatest carriers of disease-bearing pathogens and are the number one cause for communicable diseases. While mosquitoes carry deadly diseases like dengue, malaria, yellow fever and chikunginiya; lices, fleas, ticks and bed bugs carry lyme disease, leishmaniasis, filariasis and plague. Most of these diseases have some long-term effects while being excruciatingly painful in the short term. According to MedIndia, India spend nearly 100 million USD every year just to treat malaria alone.

Liquid vaporizers, aerosols, and insect-repelling creams and lotions have harmful chemicals in them which cause short and long term side effects on human beings.

Farmers, and Godowns that store foodgrains, use deadly pesticides and insecticides to drive insects away. These invariably get mixed with the foodgrains and enter our bodies repeatedly causing long-term damage.

Pest Control that is a common alternative again uses harmful chemicals and is effective only in the short term. Further, this is a costly alternative if you have a large area, live in a Tier-1 city, or your home is close to wild vegetation in which pest control has to be undertaken repeatedly.

Rainwater Harvesting

Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) is the dire need of the hour in India. On one hand, rivers and lakes are proving inadequate to meet the growing demands for high-quality water. On the other, groundwater in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities is being increasingly contaminated with industrial effluents and domestic sewage. Rainwater Harvesting is the only sustainable and long-term solution for meeting the requirement for 24x7, and high-quality water.

States like Tamil Nadu have already mandated RWH and have been imposing fines on properties that have not yet installed RWH systems. More states are expected to follow suit in the coming years.

However, not everyone is aware of how to setup a RWH system for their home, apartment complex, or office, and how to use it efficiently. That is why; Brightwave offers a complete and end-to-end solution RWH solution for all categories of customers.

Brightwave will inspect your property(ies), evaluate your water consumption needs, assess the required capacity of the RWH system, recommend the ideal solution, provide a quote, subsequently fabricate and install the system with all associated components. Thereafter, Brightwave will ensure periodic maintenance and any upgradation if required.

Sewage Treatment Plant

Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) are no longer restricted to municipal corporations, or large industries that discharge effluents. Several state governments across India have enacted law that make STPs mandatory at large apartment complexes, malls, shopping complexes, techparks, and small to midsized industrial units.

However, not everyone is aware on how to setup an STP at their premises, how to operate and maintaining the same. Further, there are innumerable perceptions about the cost and complexity of setting up an STP, and unnecessary fears of breakdowns or smell affecting their daily life.

To dispel these notions or fears, and to make it easy for customers, Brightwave offers a complete and end-to-end solution for treating raw sewage at source. Sewage Treatment has moved on from small septic tanks that were used till a decade ago, into a very mature process and technology today. Further, Brightwave has several years of experience in this business and can help you setup as well as manage the plant on an ongoing basis, efficiently.

Our STP experts will first inspect your premises; the inlet water and outlet drain connections, and then recommend a very cost-effective solution for your premises. Thereafter, we will construct and/or commission the plant with all the required components, monitor it for performance, train your in-house staff on daily maintenance, and take care of the overall maintenance on a continuous basis.

This way, you will be dealing with one agency from start to finish, and on a day-to-day basis, which makes it hassle-free, cost-effective, and easy to manage accountability for any issues that may come up. As a customer-focused company, Brightwave will leave no stone unturned to ensure good service and customer satisfaction at every step.

Solar Power

The importance of using renewable energy for a cleaner, greener environment, and reducing dependency on fossil fuels is well-established. Compared to a decade or a even a few years ago, the cost of harnessing solar energy for generating power was significant and hence considered a long-term investment.

However, with increasing adoption of solar power, the cost of installing and maintaining a solar-panel system has dropped drastically. In many parts of the world, solar power has achieved ‘grid parity’. That is - generating solar power costs the same, or even lesser, per unit, compared to traditional energy sources that are used.

India is turning to solar power in a big way to overcome the perennial shortage of power, and overcome air pollution which has reached alarming levels in cities. The government is encouraging residential, commercial and industrial establishments to install solar panels on rooftops, in order to become self-sufficient in power, and reduce demand for power on the grid.

BrightWave offers an end-to-end solution for homes, offices and commercial establishments who are seeking to install an efficient rooftop solar panel system to generate power. Our Solar experts will inspect your premises, assess your power needs, and then recommend a cost-effective solution for you. Subsequently, we will commission the same with all the panels, circuitry and associated components installed, connected and monitor the same for performance. Thereafter, we will maintain the same for you on an ongoing basis.

Scrap Disposal

Apartment complexes, offices, and industrial establishments generate hundreds of tons of scrap every year. This includes largely:

Paper scrap: paper shreds, boxes and cartons

Metal scrap: Unused, defunct or broken pieces from equipment, machinery and household items

E-waste: Discarded batteries, wires, unused appliances, devices such as old laptops, PCs, mobile phones, landline phones, etc

Plastic scrap: The largest category of scrap, this includes plastic covers, emptied packets and satchets, bottles, boxes, plastic components used in packaging, broken pieces from equipment, machinery and household items, etc

While some of the above types of scrap can be recycled, the rest are treated before disposing in a safe and environmentally-friendly way. Disposing scrap from time to time helps the owners generate small revenues while also contributing to a clean environment. Cities such as Bangalore have imposed strict norms on separating scrap from wet-waste, along with penalties for violations.

Brightwave offers a complete solution for residential, commercial and industrial establishments for disposing their scrap. We offer the complete range of services right from pick-up, assessment, sorting, evaluation, payment and transportation. To make it easy for owners, Brightwave has planned a web-based and mobile application for quick bookings. Owners can create an account with us and pre-schedule the pickups, else, one can contact us for a random disposal.

Along with being a one-stop agency, we also offer competitive or sometimes above-the-market prices for scrap, giving you enormous value for money.
